Bicycling is not allowed (Mexico)Reckless bicycling is illegal in Mexico, and bicyclists are forbidden to keep their feet away from the pedals and their hands away from the handles to avoid losing control of the bike. However, it is not illegal to ride a bicycle for free, as the city repealed its mandatory helmet law in 2010 in an attempt to increase usage of the city's bike share program.
