The world's fastest Truck
It is understood that the challenge was carried out in a closed site in northern Sweden, and for the sake of data accuracy and fairness, the FIA was invited to measure the time, twice in different directions, and the average value was used as the final result. The average speed was 169km/h and 131.29km/h, and the top speed was even 276km/h, completely rewriting people's impression of trucks.
The driver of the Iron Knight, Boije Ovebrink, has 30 years of experience in car and truck racing and won the European Truck Racing Championship in 1994. The original truck acceleration record was also set by Boije Ovebrink. The Mean Green, built by Volvo at the time, was powered by a 1,800hp diesel engine and 300hp motor.
In order to set a new record, the new Iron Knight is equipped with a water-cooled intercooler, equipped with four turbocharger D13 mid-engine, which can output 2,400 horsepower and 611.8 kilograms of torque, coupled with a reinforced I-Shift Dual Clutch dual-clutch transmission, the chassis and body are special products, and the car weighs only 4.5 tons. I do not know who is more powerful than the Iron Knight and Lamborghini, let us imagine, if those who love to race the rich generation are changing trucks on the road up, how terrible it must be.
