The liver is a silent organ, which has many functions such as metabolism, detoxification and blood regulation. It plays a very important role in maintaining human health.
But in our daily life, there are always some behaviors that will quietly harm our liver, but we know nothing about it!

1. Lack of sleep
The nightlife of modern people is becoming more and more abundant. Many people forget the time to go to bed even when they surf the Internet and play cards at home. And lack of sleep, in addition to physical fatigue, is also easy to bring harm to the liver.

2. Do not get up in the morning and hold your urine
The detoxification in the body can be conducted through urination, perspiration and defecation. Urinate as soon as possible after getting up in the morning, so that the toxins accumulated throughout the night can be discharged from the body in time to prevent the toxins from staying in the body and causing liver "poisoning".

3. Bad eating habits
The liver is the metabolic center of sugar, protein and fat. After the food in the stomach is digested by the gastrointestinal tract, the blood enters the liver through the portal vein system, and then is processed into nutrients that can be used by the human body.

4. Overweight
Overweight, too much fat will accumulate in hepatocytes, leading to non-alcoholic fatty liver. Over time, it may progress to cirrhosis.
Overweight, obese, middle-aged and diabetes people are more likely to have nonalcoholic fatty liver.

5. Unprotected sex
Many diseases that damage the liver, such as hepatitis B and hepatitis C, can be transmitted through sexual behavior.
Chronic hepatitis B and hepatitis C are difficult to cure. If there is no early intervention and treatment, it will slowly progress to cirrhosis and liver cancer, and eventually lead to death.

6. Excessive drinking and alcoholism
The liver plays a vital role in the circulation of the human body, and alcohol is definitely a good hand in injuring the liver. The alcohol we drink is metabolized and detoxified by the liver.
Excessive drinking and alcoholism will reduce the liver's ability to purify blood, lead to the increase of toxins in the body, and induce liver damage and various diseases.
In addition, alcoholism can easily lead to liver poisoning and induce hepatitis. Long term excessive drinking can easily lead to irreversible damage of hepatocytes, which will evolve into cirrhosis (medically called alcoholic cirrhosis).

7. Take medicine indiscriminately or too much
As the saying goes, "medicine is divided into three parts", and the liver is the largest detoxification organ of the human body. It participates in drug metabolism and can decompose toxic substances.
If you pay attention to the column "adverse reactions" in the drug instructions, you will find that there are quite a few drug instructions that indicate that long-term use may cause liver enzyme elevation. Please take the medicine under the guidance of a doctor.
Therefore, in daily life, you should be more careful when taking medicine (including the so-called tonic). It is recommended to take the medicine under the guidance of a regular hospital specialist or expert.

8. Long term depression and anger
People with poor liver are more likely to get angry. Although it is good for the body to release emotions occasionally, if you are depressed for a long time, become angry at any time, and become depressed due to illness, you can lose the liver and relax, and the Qi machine is not smooth, and it is easy to form liver qi stagnation.
However, the stagnation of liver qi can reflect a series of physical diseases, such as stomachache, abdominal pain, headache, chest distress, irregular menstruation, hyperplasia of mammary gland, uterine leiomyoma, color spots, hyperlipidemia, fatty liver, hypertension and so on.

It's a good habit to protect the liver
☆ pay attention to maintaining a balanced diet, a healthy life law and a good attitude.
☆ avoid inappropriate medication.
☆ abstain from alcohol.
☆ control weight.
☆ exercise regularly.
To fight against liver injury, we should start from daily life and protect the liver. It is urgent!
